One of the lengthiest beaches, it stretches over 4 km and the coastline with tall green trees makes it look absolutely stunning.

This black-sand beach is also crowded with tourists but a day trip to Alibaug wouldn’t be complete without you visiting its most famous beach. And the crowd only adds to the charm and gives it the touristy vibe.

You can also visit the 400-year-old Ganpati Temple which is very popular amongst the residents of Alibuag.

A walk along the Alibaug beach will take you to the Kolaba Fort. The fort that was constructed under the reign of Shivaji Maharaj is representative of all that the Maratha Empire stood for.

On a high tide, one needs to take a small ferry ride to reach the fort. A visit to this sea fort is surely going to be the highlight of your 1 Day Pune to Alibaug Trip.

The height of the fort walls is approximately 25 feet and the fort houses various temples, and the Dargah of Haji Kamaluddin Shah. There is a temple dedicated to Siddhi Vinayak and the temple attracts a lot of people during Ganesh Chaturthi.
