1. Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal was put in order in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The construction of the monument was completed in 1653. And it took around 21 years for the Taj Mahal to be constructed with over 20,000 workers.
The white marble beauty of India is embellished with spectacular cravings.It overlooks the River Yamuna, an artificial pool and also a stunning garden by its side.

2. Taj Museum
This museum was established in 1982. A double storied building with a quadrangle like projection outside built on a raised platform. It is a huge museum with two floors which showcases several exhibits connected mostly to the construction of the Taj Mahal.

3. Buland Darwaza
Next on our one day Ghaziabad to Agra trip by private car is Buland Darwaza. It is an astonishing example of the Mughal architecture made up of red and buff sandstone and adorned by white and black marble. One needs to cover a flight of 42 steps to reach the gateway, which stands tall at a height of 40 m.
The total height of the structure is about 54 m, i.e., 176 feet from the ground level. Also, it is a 15 storied high gateway acting as the southern entrance of the city of Fatehpur Sikri and it took nearly 12 years to build this magnificent gateway.

4. Jama Masjid
Next our same day trip to Agra from Ghaziabad, we will take you to the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. It was built by Akbar in 1571-72 AD under the supervision of Sufi Saint, Sheikh Salim Chishti and his descendants. It is also known as the Friday mosque. It is the congregational mosque and was perhaps one of the first buildings to be made up in the complex.

5. Mankameshwar Temple
This peaceful place with a captivating place is a Shiv temple where it is idealized that prayers prayed wholeheartedly are always accorded. It is also believed that when Goddess Sita was taking a dive in the water she prayed to Lord Shiv. As there was no temple during that time so Lord Ram made the Mankameshwar Temple on the banks of River Yamuna.

6. Agra Fort
The fort of Agra was initially known as Badalgarh which was held by Raja Badal Singh, a Hindu Rajput king (1475 AD). It was rebuilt by the third Mughal emperor- Akbar on the remains of Badalgarh. Around 4000 workers were employed to reconstruct it and it took 8 years (1565-1573) to complete the same.
