1. Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal was put in order in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The construction of the monument was completed in 1653. And it took around 21 years for the Taj Mahal to be constructed with over 20,000 workers.

3. Wildlife SOS
Wildlife SOS was established in 1995 by a group of individuals to protect and conserve India’s natural heritage, forest and wildlife wealth. It currently houses approx. 200 sloth bears and many other species in large forested enclosures with ponds and shady trees.
You can interact with the elephants and even get a chance to feed them. Educational tours are also provided at the Wildlife SOS. Spend a happy day enjoying the pleasures of nature.

4. Baby Taj / Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah
The Tomb Itimad-ud-Daulah was built by the Mughal queen Noor Jahan in 1628 AD to commemorate her father. This is the first Mughal structure made entirely of marble and is the inspiration behind the Taj Mahal.
However, the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah is a more delicate artwork with marble lattice screens and fine carvings with a touch of Persian architecture.
The tomb is situated on the banks of River Yamuna and is surrounded by beautiful lush gardens which make it an absolute spot for a one-day trip from Faridabad to Agra by car.

5. Agra Fort
The fort of Agra was initially known as Badalgarh which was held by Raja Badal Singh, a Hindu Rajput king (1475 AD). It was rebuilt by the third Mughal emperor- Akbar on the remains of Badalgarh. Around 4000 workers were employed to reconstruct it and it took 8 years (1565-1573) to complete the same.
